AEROSIL® 200 Pharma is a high-purity, colloidal silicon dioxide developed specifically for pharmaceutical applications. As a glidant, it reduces interparticulate forces within powder blends, improving flow behaviour, blend homogeneity and process reliability.

Its performance is particularly valuable in continuous direct compression, where consistent powder flow and precise dosing are essential. Continuous direct compression

AEROSIL® 200 Pharma supports stable powder flow from feeding through to tabletting, even at low glidant dosing rates. It reduces flow-related disruptions, supports consistent die filling and helps minimise tablet weight variation, making it a central excipient for continuous direct compression processes.

Batch tabletting and blending

In batch processes, AEROSIL® 200 Pharma improves blend uniformity and flowability, supporting reproducible tabletting and reduced batch-to-batch variability. Its effectiveness at low concentrations allows formulators to optimise performance without significantly altering formulation composition.

Challenging powder systems
