  • CyreneTM dipolar aprotic solvent used extensively in organic synthesis for fine chemicals including acylation reactions and metal-mediated cross-coupling reactions.
  • Allows for ease of isolation and simplified purification of product.
  • Can enable a reduction in PMI and reduced waste
  • Has shown selective formation of single salt crystals in API crystallisation
  • Biocompatibility, high solvating window and high viscosity make it ideal for drug delivery systems, allowing good separation and suspension (dispersion)
  • Has shown utility as a cleaning solvent for pharmaceuticals to remove residues and minimize the risk of cross-contamination
