By supplying a concentrated 'one shot' system, we significantly reduce the amount of water being shipped. This not only conserves resources but also lowers our carbon footprint. Instead of shipping multiple raw materials, we use a single concentrate. Our concentrates come in returnable Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs). This smart packaging choice reduces waste and promotes sustainability. All our concentrates are proudly manufactured in the UK. By keeping production local, we contribute to a smaller carbon footprint.

Pine Gel Conc.
Q-Surf PGC
This is a pine gel concentrate which is a mobile liquid, however when diluted in water to circa 20%, it produces a thick gel, with a strong pine scent and excellent cleaning power. The gel can then be used in a warm water solution to clean most hard surfaces, typically at a dilution of 50-75ml per 3 litres.
Our Pine Gel Concentrate is a powerhouse cleaning solution that transcends ordinary sprays and wipes. Pine gel's secret lies in its concentrated surfactants in combination with the cleaning power of a natural pine oil —those tiny cleaning molecules that work tirelessly behind the scenes. They cut through grime, grease, and stubborn stains, leaving surfaces gleaming. Pine gel doesn't play favourites.

Neutral Detergent Conc.
Q-Surf 2506
Q-Surf 2506 is a neutral detergent concentrate that's more than meets the eye. Q-Surf 2506 packs a punch when it comes to cleaning.
This is a 'sink wash' neutral detergent concentrate that is supplied as a mobile liquid. Upon dilution with water, and adjustment with NaCl, it produces a viscous liquid with excellent foaming and degreasing properties. Finished concentrations of between 8% and 25% active are then easily achieved.
Additionally, the diluted product will support a fragrance loading of between 0.1% and 0.35% w/w, depending on the finished activity. The product has excellent hard water stability and is easily homogenised during manufacturing, under gentle mixing.

Bleach Thickener Conc.
Q-Surf HT-50
Q-Surf HT-50 is a bleach thickener concentrate that transforms ordinary bleach into a precision tool. Q-Surf HT-50 has been formulated to be stable in the presence of chlorine, whilst maintaining a viscous finished product and reducing the decomposition of the sodium hypochlorite component. Q-Surf HT-50 thickens the solution, allowing it to cling to inclined surfaces. This extended contact time means better soil removal and germ eradication. Q-Surf HT-50 enables the solubilisation of sodium hypochlorite stabilised fragrances, adding a touch of freshness to your cleaning endeavours.

Beaded Hand Gel. Conc.
Q-Surf HGO
Q-Surf HGO is a hand-gel concentrate that is supplied as a liquid base. The finished hand gel is produced by adding the HGO to hot water (65-75degC) under mixing, at circa 35% w/w. Abrasive beads of choice can then be added to the mix, which in combination with the surfactant and oil blend, will act as minute bars of soap, aiding a deep clean. The finished product, upon cooling produces a firm 'ringing' gel with sufficient viscosity that any beads added will not settle to the bottom. It has a strong citrus fragrance, which leaves the hands smelling pleasant after use.

OQEMA SLES Dilution plant
At OQEMA, we have something exciting brewing at our Denaby site. It's our brand-new SLES dilution plant.
27% SLES is found in hundreds of household cleaners and personal care products but here's where we get clever. From a green perspective, we ship our products at 70% concentration, which we then dilute to 27%. This approach results in a lower overall carbon footprint compared to shipping the equivalent 27% directly.
