BENTONE HYDROCLAY™ 700

BENTONE HYDROCLAY™ 700 is a highly beneficiated, easily dispersible powdered blend of smectite clay and xanthan gum designed for natural rheology modification in cosmetic and personal care formulations. This COSMOS‑approved, vegan additive delivers stable, light sensory textures and imparts a smooth, silky feel across a wide range of applications, including Oil in Water and Water in Oil emulsions, creams, lotions, antiperspirants, deodorants, colour cosmetics, facial make-up, face packs, and sun care products. It increases and stabilises aqueous-phase viscosity under varying temperatures, ageing, and shear conditions while providing thermostable rheology and excellent suspension control. With broad pH and electrolyte tolerance, BENTONE HYDROCLAY™ 700 minimises phase separation and syneresis and can be processed easily as a powder or pre-gel.
