Multi‑functional silica for formulation performance
AEROSIL® 200 is a hydrophilic fumed silica with a specific surface area around 175–225 m²/g, and high purity (SiO₂ > 99.8 %) . It is widely applied in coatings, adhesives, silicones, and powder systems for its rheology, thickening, anti‑sagging, suspension, and anti‑settling properties . In powder formulations, it coats particle surfaces to maintain free flow and reduce cohesion. In liquids and gels, it forms a network structure that resists sedimentation and supports stable dispersion . The material is REACH, TSCA, and other global‑inventory registered and has a shelf life of 24 months when stored dry and sealed.
