High oil loads, lightweight results

 

Sprayable emulsions can be challenging to formulate, particularly when higher oil levels are required. Conventional emulsifier systems can increase viscosity as oil content rises, making it difficult to achieve the light, fluid textures needed for effective spray applications.

Spraymulse® addresses this challenge by combining two natural emulsifiers with a shear-thinning stabilising system. At a use level of just 1 to 1.25%, it can create stable oil-in-water emulsions containing up to 50% oil, while maintaining low viscosity and helping to prevent nozzle clogging.

The result is greater formulation flexibility without compromising sensory performance. Spraymulse® delivers light, non-sticky textures that absorb quickly and leave a smooth, matte finish without pilling or whitening. As a complete emulsifying and stabilising system, it can also simplify formulation by eliminating the need for additional stabilisers.
