Patrick Barthels joined OQEMA Group in 2016 as Managing Director of OQEMA Contract and Group Director Organika. Since January 2020 he is part of the Executive Board and as CSO he is responsible for sales and purchasing, since July 2022 he acts in the role of CEO. Various country companies/hubs and the European cross-divisional business functions (Organics, Inorganics, KAM and Specialties) will report to him.

‘I have always been interested in growing companies strategically by using a creative yet structured approach, which is what stimulated me about the OQEMA Group as a business and employer,’ said Philipp Junge. He most recently led the Lanxess executive board’s E-Mobility and Circular Economy Programme. Since June 2022 Philipp Junge is Chief Operating Officer of the OQEMA Group and will be responsible for sales in southern and eastern Europe as well as for the specialities segment, logistics, sustainability and services across all of Europe, along with strategy for the OQEMA Group.

‘I have always been driven by the need to make a difference in a company’, says the trained industrial engineer. In the course of his career at Ernst & Young and Roland Berger, Mr Kunz combined sound financial knowledge with operational and strategic aspects in a variety of retail companies.
Since April 2020 Hartmut Kunz is Chief Financial Officer of OQEMA AG.
